For more than two decades, Mrs. Ozier has concentrated her efforts on examining the life experiences of underserved women and childrenaffected by systemic inequality.
In alignment with this mission, Mrs. Ozier contributes to health and human services in four key areas: 1) Illinois child welfare systems; 2) Behavioral health; 3) Nutrition related to chronic disease management; and 4) Community engagement as a platform for developing and implementing resources that advance LGBT health and advocacy, address homelessness, and support wellbeing among youth ages 13 to 24.
